Chembra peak is the highest peak in Wayanad, at 2100 meter above sea level. Chembra peak adjoins Nilgiri hills in Tamilnadu and Vellarimala in Kozhikkode. There is a heart shaped lake on the way to top of the peak, which is believed to have never dried up, is a major tourist attraction here. Chembra Peak in Wayanad is one of the most amazing treks one can opt for in South India. Chembra peak is visible from almost all parts of Wayanad.

Ø  Edakkal Caves – Two natural caves at a remote location. They lie 3900 ft from sea level near an ancient trade route connecting high mountain of Mysore to the ports of Malabar cost. Pictorial writings inside the caves are believed to date to at least 6000BCE, indicating the presence of a prehistoric civilization.

Ø  Soochipara Waterfalls – Soochipara waterfalls also known as Sentinel Rock waterfalls is a three- tiered waterfall in Vellarimala.
